Check-in can be done after 3 pm. Please let us know your expected time of arrival so that we can be ready to be present at the house to welcome you.

Check-out has to be made until 11 am.

IS THERE FOOD AVAILABLE AT THE HOUSE?

When you arrive at the house there will be a small welcome gift waiting for you.

There is no restaurant at Casa dos Cogumelos. However, there are a couple of good options nearby:

• Several restaurants and cafes within walking distance in the villages of Murtinheira and Quiaios Beach (15-20 min walking or 3 min by car)

• Several restaurants and cafes within 15-20 minutes by car in the town of Figueira da Foz

• UBER Eats is available to deliver at Casa dos Cogumelos, so you have a wide variety of restaurants to order meals from

IS THERE BREAKFAST INCLUDED?

No.

DO I NEED TO BRING TOWELS OR BED LINENS?

No. We provide towels and bed linens.

IS THERE A RECEPTION?

We do not have a reception, but we are always reachable to provide any help, if needed.

DO YOU PROVIDE CLEANING?

We will clean the house before you arrive and after you leave.

If you prefer to have the house cleaned every day during your stay, let us know in advance so that we can try to provide you with this service (at an extra cost).

IS SMOKING ALLOWED?

The houses have a no-smoking policy indoors. There are many outside spaces with nice views for those who enjoy smoking.

ARE PETS ALLOWED AT CASA DOS COGUMELOS?

No, we do not allow guests to bring pets to our property.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO INVITE SOME FRIENDS OVER FOR LUNCH?

Yes, with 2 conditions:

a) You have to share with us this intention, stating the day and number of people you are inviting.

b) Maximum number of guests is +6 people for Casa dos Cogumelos and +4 people for the Cottage.

You can invite your friends to spend the day with you (have a barbecue, go to the beach, etc.), however, they cannot stay for the night. Any number of guests that is superior to the above described is strictly forbidden.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO RENT CASA DOS COGUMELOS AND THE COTTAGE AT THE SAME TIME?

Yes! It is possible to rent the 2 houses at the same time.

DO YOU PROVIDE ACTIVITIES LIKE SURFING/HORSE RIDING/ETC?

DO YOU PROVIDE MASSAGE SERVICES?

Yes, we do. The massage service is provided at Casa dos Cogumelos or the Cottage (depending on where you are staying). Get in touch with us to book your massage.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO RENT THE PROPERTY TO HOST AN EVENT?

Yes. Many family events have been hosted here in the past (weddings, birthdays, etc.). To host an event at Casa dos Cogumelos, the following conditions have to be respected:

a) Only small events up to a maximum number of 50 people

b) No nocturnal parties allowed.

c) Recommended event styles - yoga/surf/other retreats, weddings. birthday parties, family or corporate events, etc.

We rent the property as it is. All other services like catering, extra sitting/tables/furniture, etc. will have to be hired separately by the event organizer. Planning ahead is key to ensuring availability and a successful event.
